I recently visited Zakopane and had an incredible experience! The town is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking mountain views and a charming, unique atmosphere. One of the highlights of my trip was experiencing the local highlander culture. The traditional cuisine was delicious, and I loved the folk music and craft markets.

Seems like Zakopane has forgotten who pays their bills, and tourists will come anyway. Even bus drivers try to mess around with tourists. Three times they told me to get off at the wrong bus stop (too early), in one case causing me to miss the train, in another laughing because I had to walk 1km extra.
Next, people are trying to take advantage of you wherever they can, charging little extra, "forgetting" to give you change, steering you into expensive options etc. Keep that in mind.
If you can overlook unfriendly locals, the mountains are beautiful and hiking is great.

Zakopane has a lot to do in terms of hiking (when it's not totally snow covered). If you're into hiking, you can spent a week at the various parts of Tatry National Park. There are cultural events, too, though I'm not as certain as to how to find them.

Very nice mountains town with many hotels and many tourists attractions.
But is better go the outseason. 29.4. and 30.4. was great, because around 23C and sunny, clear. No wind, that was optimal weather to visit in working day, the next days from 1.5. it will be too many tourists there.
Best place to see Tatry mountains, go walk or linear train to Gubałówka (better buy ticket advance online).
There are also many attractions, views and restaurants.

What an incredibly beautiful city, with charm and excellent food and walking zones and thermal baths and the Funicular to the top with an amazing view! The people were charming and helpful! Absolutely loved Zacopane!
Everything was perfect, rated 10 out of 10. Our family had a great time on this trip, especially thanks to this hotel in Zakopane. The room was lovely, with a beautiful mountain view from the window. The bed and pillows were really comfortable, just like in the pictures. The pool and other facilities were clean and modern, perfect for relaxing after hiking or skiing. Breakfast wasn't a buffet, but there were plenty of choices on the menu and the portions were big. Thanks for having us, we can't wait to come back!
we have 3 rooms 102 , 110 little bit small the third room 112 is very large , the women in breakfast buffet very welcoming and very helpful she help us with identifying the types of food and what suitable for us , also the women in the reception always greet us also the old man who help us to carrying the luggage is very kind and cheerful probably all the staff are helpful and welcoming:) , love the experience and sure i will reserve this hotel every time i visit zakopane
Nice place, it was very warm inside (floor heating), just one min from the amazing view and close to the funiculars, street market. Free parking spot (be careful when it snows though, the place is under a hill and the road is made of small crumbly stones). You will find a hotel complex just next to the house so if you want to quickly find a place for dinner or spa — here you go :)
There are many kitchen utensils, good location, helpful owners.
Exceptional services. Thankyou Aparthotel Cristina for making our stay memorable. It was my third time in Zakopane and 1st in this hotel. Hotel is stone throwaway from main mrket street. Has two exceptional resturants 1) polish and 2) italian. Food is delicious, preaentation is 10/10. They have a spa service which is great. Morning breakfasts are a delight. Overall, if i M again on zakopane , i will choose them all handsdown
The staff is very friendly. Great if you get the mountain view side. Exceptional view every morning on the balcony. The hotel is modern, clean and easy to walk around. The spa area is beautiful and wonderful. Would be better if you could control the temperatures on the hot tubs (3 of them) or saunas (2 of them), but otherwise they were great to relax in everyday. Had a great time here and hope to return.
Accommodation was very comfortable. Very spacious rooms, comfy beds. Tea/coffee facilities in room with kettle. TV with remote control. Pleasant hosts, very welcoming and accommodating. Close to ski lift for beginners slope. Property located on the outskirts of the centre of Zakopane and ideal for those wishing to have more of a peaceful holiday. Would recommend.
well.... for sure it's a beautiful complex with multiple buildings...all very recent and build to a high standard... the location is good for those looking to hike or ski... not if you want to just walk the main streets of Zakopane... Rooms are nice and very spacious, well organized with separate bathrooms (i.e. I rented a double room and it had 2 bathrooms)
The hotel is in a beautiful location and our room was clean and spacious with views of the mountains. Friendly helpful staff and a great breakfast. We did some fabulous walks that started minutes from the hotel. When we left the hotel manager gave us a picnic and a lift to the taxi rank to take us back into Zakopane for our bus back to Krakow.
Nice Location and walking distance to the main street (4 minutes) and public transportation. Best part of the Room was mountain view. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials. Hotel room was clean, very comfortable. Reception staff was quite helpful and they speak English and polish. Will be back to this place soon..!
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful,
but the the younger ladies from house keeping and breakfast were very rude also the breakfast was terrible cheapest products used, not fresh, honestly the worst breakfast I’ve ever had in Poland wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anybody and will never come back. Stay away from this place.
The room was spacious and so was the bathroom. It was warm and the bed was very comfortable. The location is great, easy walking distance to Poland Szymaszkowa and about 20 min walk to Krupowki Main Street. The hosts are very friendly and gave us a lift to Krupowki one morning which was nice of them. We had breakfast daily for 40zl PP.
It was one of the best trip experiences in Zakopane. We are in love with this place. I’m feeling like I’m at home here. Everything was 10/10. Also, I recommend trying food at their restaurant. This is just incredible. It's more tasty than in other Zakopane’s restaurants. The owners of the hotel are wonderful and friendly people.
This is our favourite accomodation in Zakopane, always spent the nights here when we visit the city. Staff is kind, speaks English, check-in and check-out is quick. Room is clean, spaceus. Beds are comfortable. Location of the willa is excellent, near to Krupówki, but far enough to be quiet. We'll return as soon as possible! :)
- Large restaurant for breakfast, plenty of tables (option for sofa as well). Wide variety of things, fresh and tasty.
- Great hotel style, spacious facilities (lobby, room, welness...).
- Friendly, detailed oriented and professional staff.
- Perfect location, not only for bus & train, but to city center by feet.
In the city, just 5-10 mins walk away from main Zakopane bus station. Some buses to Tatra national park and Morskie Oki also stop just outside the hotel gate which is very convenient.
The staff was very helpful too...and the rooms were much larger than expected.
The hotel is located in the heart of Zakopane. We had a marvellous view of a central street, which was full of vibe and flamboyance. The hotel is close to restaurants with delicious food and a bus station. Also, the hotel room was comparatively spacious.
Very tasty and hearty breakfast. The hotel is near to the town centre and is lokated on a quite street. The main Ski Lift of Zakopane is near to the hotel, but during my stay it was closed, so I used Polana Szymoszkowa, it's rather far from the hotel.
A stunning hotel, our room was really spacious too. In a great location, not far from the Main Street in Zakopane. Would definitely return, especially when the spa is open (we know it was closed when we booked)
