The apartment is very beautiful and comfortable. The apartment faced a pastoral landscape. The staff was very friendly. I would like to mention Bruna who helped with a personal issue and showed patience and empathy. Just great. And so did Anna who welcomed us like family every morning at breakfast. A wonderful and warm woman. The food was of high quality and very tasty. Anna made delicious cakes. The whole house is very nicely decorated and furnished.

They are busy building a swimming pool so there were some noise during the day. Raining so we could not go for a walk. Lovely feel about the village. Good wi-fi. Watch the stars at night and listen to the farm animals, then sleep like a baby until the fresh breakfast in the morning. Drive only 20 minutes to see Coimbra or stay in the area to visit schist villages. I only wish we had planned more time there.

But inside it is a roomy modern accommodation. Definitely all of the comforts of home. The rooms were well decorated and comfortable. The beds cozy and the shower worked well Breakfast was a “make it yourself” affair but the selection of bread, fruit, cheese, jams, cereal etc was more than adequate. You could find whatever you wanted I the cupboards or fridge. Portuguese breads are delicious especially with home made jam.MarcCanada
