Well equipped kitchen and outside the covered courtyard dining room. Whole place well presented and clean. Adequate on-road parking outside. This a typical classic rural Portuguese small two bedroomed house. Highly recommended.

The beds were comfy (we like hard beds). The shower water was nice and hot. We had an access to the first floor patio with decent views. Friendly owner/care taker. Property's car park was nearby.

I stayed in a two room tent behind the owner's farmhouse. The tent was clean and the bed was very cozy. It was raining outside, but inside was dry and there was a light and plug to charge my phone. Nice change of pace from the usual hotels and B&Bs. The owners were extremely gracious and friendly. I recommend paying extra for the home cooked breakfast--it was absolutely delicious. I would stay again!

Built as a farm house in the 18th century it is located steps away from the train and bus stations and boasts great views of the castle.
