Situated within 13 km of Natur Waterpark and 37 km of Douro Museum, Casa do Santo - Wine & Tourism features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Provesende. We loved the exquisitely decorated guest house with a stunning view in the most beautiful rural location. Maria was very friendly and accommodating and prepared the most delicious dinner on the patio overlooking the.pool and vineyards. The breakfast was also outstanding and we loved everything about our stay!

Their kindness and attention to customer service is world class, and is matched by their knowledge of the history of the area and willingness to share the stories of their journey to create their dream. While my partner and I were there, we enjoyed morning hikes through the vineyards, daily trips to regional towns, afternoon dips in the indoor salt water spa pool, and evening dinners where our hosts and staff provided upscale-rustic regional cuisine, local wines and port, and wonderful conversation with both hosts and guests. This will be somewhere we will hopefully be able to revisit in the coming years as it truly is one of our favourites of all time!

Set in Vila Nova de Foz Coa and only 18 km from Longroiva Hot Springs, Eira da Fraga offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The space was very clean and the location in the middle of nowhere but close from the city was perfect

Located within 44 km of Douro Museum and 45 km of Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, QUINTA ALTO DO RIO provides rooms in Cinfães. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Staff went above and beyond to make it the best experience possible. The breakfast buffet was delicious and included eggs and bacon cooked to order. We enjoyed excellent meals at the hotel for dinner, seated on the deck overlooking the beautiful Douro River.

CRASTO PAYVA DOURO NATURE is set in Castelo de Paiva and features a pool with a view and garden views. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Beautiful view over the valley from our top floor, corner bedroom. The staff were kind and gracious. Modern architecture with a warm touch.

Quinta da Menina Guest House is situated in Vila Real, 35 km from Douro Museum, 46 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, and 8.6 km from Mateus Palace. What an amazing place and warm, wonderful hosts Paolo and Carla make you feel like old friends. Beware, booking.com's directions take you to the wrong house. Follow Google maps to Quinta da Menina Guest house instead and you won't get lost. The place seems brand new but charming. It's spotless and gorgeous. The pool is crystal clear and breakfast is fantastic. Don't make the mistake we made and only book one night. You are going to want to stay at this beautiful oasis and explore the wine area for, at least, a few days. I would have stayed forever if I could.
