Quinta das Hortensias is a traditional Madeira home located in Arco de São Jorge, on the north Coast of Madeira Island. The unit features views over the Atlantic Ocean and the lush Laurissilva Forest.... Staying at Quinta das Hortênsias was one of the best decisions on this trip. Wonderful environment, a very cozy apartment with a beautiful view, garden, and terrace. I felt comfortable and safe, like at home. Special thanks to the host Viriato for his hospitality, sincerity, and easy communication. It was always a pleasure to chat. My first impression upon arrival - was that this house has a soul, and it was definitely confirmed. I highly recommend it. This apartment was one of the amazing experiences I had in Madeira. I would really love to come back someday. Thank you so much!

Offering an idyllic setting in an Agroturism property, Casas de Pedra is located in Camacha, a Madeiran village located 12 km from Funchal city centre. It offers free WiFi access. I liked that the hosts did not overpromise. In fact I got more than I expected (e.g. fireplace, breakfast that is enough to feed you for the whole day). Everything is newly renovated, sea on the horizon and it is very very quiet.

The location was as depicted. Serene and verdant mountain countryside. A quiet and tranquil venue. Very relaxing. Cottages/studios were very comfortable and cozy. The location is absolutely perfect. View is amazing and i love all the animals around the house (i would recommend you dont dislike cats). The house is lovely, very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equiped, I cooked quite a lot. Laura is an amazing host, helped us a lot.

Moinho do Comandante is located in São Roque, in Madeira. The unit is in a naturally green property, which features a spring of drinkable water. Homes at the Comandante’s come with a seating area. It was a bless to stay with you at this beautiful place you have. It's like in a fairytale. It truly touched our hearts, what a stunning place and amazing people! Thank you Leonor and Carlos for your great hospitality, inspiring stories and lovely company. You will definitely see us again. PS. I would change the name to Magical Moihno do Comandante 😉❤️
