The farm is surrounded by ancient-looking walls out of lava stone, and boasts an equally ancient-looking lookout tower. My kids did love the cat that came visiting frequently

Very clean, spacious and the host was amazing!!! The garden has also a nice view for your morning coffee. Everything looks so much better than on the photos 10/10

Featuring free bikes, the eco-friendly Herdade do Ananás is located in Ponta Delgada, 2.9 km from Portas da Cidade. Everything was amazing. Beautiful room, super clean, comfortable bed, amazing breakfast and attentive staff. The jacuzzi was super fun, and the massage was great.

Situated in Ribeira Grande and only 1.7 km from Praia do Monte Verde, Casa do Pico Arde features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The blue apartment is truly amazing, very nice space. The location is very nice, close to the highway and the centre of Ribeira Grande, but on the same time very peaceful. The hosts have been very polite and friendly, I wish every apartment/hotel had been managed by such people. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

This picturesque property nestled in a rural town. we enjoyed rainbows, cows and goats on rolling hills, and a beautiful sunset. A uniquely stay with charm, relaxation we needed post wedding!

Situated in Ponta Delgada and only 11 km from Pico do Carvao, Monte Ingles features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Absolutely everything. We loved staying for 3 nights with Caroline, her dogs and her horses. We wish that it had been longer. Caroline is an amazing woman and an inspiration. Her home and gardens are beautiful and in a perfect location outside of the city for exploring Sao Miguel and when coming from or going to the airport. Coffee, tea, cookies and fruit were always available.

The Convento de São Francisco is a built in a 17th century Franciscan convent. Beautiful cloister in the nice quiet town of Vila Franca do Campo. Nice, comfortable room. Very good breakfast. Very nice and helpful staff. I will come back.

A former summer house, Quinta da Abelheira offers an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a large lawn area. It is located in Fajã de Baixo, 4 km from Ponta Delgada, in Azores. On the morning of my check-out, I was the only guest at the Quinta. However, the breakfast was as big and as vast as I had seen in the photos, I got to try a bit of everything and it was all delicious (the Azorean cheeses are very tasty). Even though I had a late check-in, the front desk staff was very friendly and, on my check-out day, they allowed me to use to use the common areas up until I had to go to the airport for my flight.

The Quinta de Santa Clara is a cozy property, 22 km from the famous Lagoa do Fogo, the highest lagoon in São Miguel Island. Everything was perfect, we were amazed, the house is cozy and modern, it has a beautiful garden, we had the best of our time at this place. The host's kindness deserves an extra star.
