Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Candeias do Souto is located in Bragança in the Norte Region, 9 km from Braganca Castle. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Perfect location for relaxing or hiking in a beautifully refurbished old stone building with a nice garden. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. Definitely recommendable and we'll not hesitate to book this again if we want to return to the region.

Ģimenes pārvaldītā lauku saimniecība Quinta De La Rosa atrodas vīna ražotnes teritorijā, Douru upes labajā krastā, 2 km attālumā no Pinjanas. Our visit to Quinta de la Rosa was simply wonderful and far exceeded expectations. Our room was beautiful with stunning views and dinner in the restaurant (on both nights) was outstanding. We had an excellent wine tour/tasting and did some fabulous hikes including right to the top of the estate. Couldn't recommend a visit here more highly.

Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food atrodas vēsturiskā lauku mājā, un no tās paveras skats uz gleznaino Douro upes ieleju. Viesnīcu ieskauj dārzs un vīna dārzi. Breakfast was lovely with fresh juice, pastries and fruit. We were also sent away with extra slices of cake and fruit for our journey! We also had dinner there and nothing was too much. The food was excellent but was clearly prepared just for us and made it even more special with all the beams and vineyard features such as barrels in the reception and dining room. The bedroom was very cosy and the bed was extremely comfy and bathroom with a bath was excellent. The room was very large and had lots of features to make us feel like we were in the vineyard. The best bit was when we arrived and we were greeted by the family with glasses of port from their vineyard for free before sitting by a toasty fire to warm up - perfect welcome!!

Situated within 13 km of Natur Waterpark and 37 km of Douro Museum, Casa do Santo - Wine & Tourism features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Provesende. The setting was simply perfect, offering stunning views of the Duoro valley. The house itself was beautiful, and we received a lovely welcome with their homemade Porto wine. Our room was exceptional, offering great comfort, and the breakfast was equally delightful. Unfortunately, the cold weather kept us from using the pool, but we're excited to return and spend more time there. Honestly, I felt no desire to venture elsewhere, as everything about the place was just wonderful.

Boasting garden views, Quinta de Travassinhos- Douro Valley offers accommodation with a rooftop pool, an indoor pool and an open-air bath, around 6.5 km from Douro Museum. My friends and I loved the property, the people, and the meals. It is so charming—I love the care and thought that was put into this place. We had our dinners here and our last dinner was this delicious stew. Helena, Ricardo, and Joao helped to make our stay so wonderful.

Set in Vila Nova de Foz Coa and only 18 km from Longroiva Hot Springs, Eira da Fraga offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The space was very clean and the location in the middle of nowhere but close from the city was perfect

Quinta da Menina Guest House is situated in Vila Real, 35 km from Douro Museum, 46 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, and 8.6 km from Mateus Palace. What an amazing place and warm, wonderful hosts Paolo and Carla make you feel like old friends. Beware, booking.com's directions take you to the wrong house. Follow Google maps to Quinta da Menina Guest house instead and you won't get lost. The place seems brand new but charming. It's spotless and gorgeous. The pool is crystal clear and breakfast is fantastic. Don't make the mistake we made and only book one night. You are going to want to stay at this beautiful oasis and explore the wine area for, at least, a few days. I would have stayed forever if I could.

Providing quiet street views, APOLINÁRIO in Castrovicente offers accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a bar. There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay. Do not avoid this place, I bet, you will never regret it. Despite being in the middle of nowhere and at a very low price this small hotel is a star. Well equipped, air-conditioned with the Daikin, big enough room. Great self-service breakfast in the morning. Shared real kitchen, soundproof -- what else you can find for such money? As a bonus -- a small restaurant on the first floor (no smells, no noises). And the restaurant deserves a special review -- very traditional and delicious food, not healthy, thanks God. The food as the food must be -- a lot, cheap and tasty. Not for smoothy-lovers. Traveling by Portugal? Be like a Portuguese. Ah, and the staff -- outstandingly friendly

Offering quiet street views, The Village House by CDV is an accommodation set in Carrazeda de Anciães, 26 km from São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum and 38 km from Mirandela Medieval Bridge. We arrived quite late after cycling in the rain all day and Sara was there to greet us and help us. She transformed the whole house into a beautiful place. Very well thought out. The room was spacious, the common areas were very nice, we definitely recommend. Thank you Sara.

Featuring a shared lounge and views of pool, Casas da Fraga 2020 is a farm stay situated in a historic building in Ribeira de Pena, 47 km from Golf Course Vidago Palace. Excellent location, magnificent host, good breakfast. Will came back for sure!
