This was the perfect place in the perfect spot. Convenient to the city as well as forms of transportation as it is part of the train and bus station. However, it is very quiet. Rooms are what one would expect for Europe, but still very comfortable. If you come to Lillehammer, stay here.

If this hotel had a ski room and some equipment to take care (wax) of skis, it would be 10/10. It does not have that unfortunately, you have to take your skis and everything to your room. It works well for anyone who is having a little city holiday without a car or other means of transportation. Most shops and restaurants were within 5min walk from the hostel which meant that there was no need for a bus pass or a car. The neighbourhood was calm, tidy and safe, so it is very suitable for anyone travelling alone. As a lone traveller, I highly recommend this hostel!
