Everything is super clean, beds are very comfy, we ordered evening meal and it was just magical. Service and curtesy of staff is what really make this place special. you feel welcome and at home. The building mix of traditional Portuguese and Japanese gives the place a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was comfortable and the "magic" toilet was really fun! Both the jacuzzi and sauna followed by breakfast (kasutera included) was an amazing way of starting the day. The traditional breakfast was also really good and worth trying.

It is a unique, serene experience, in a very clean, modern, small hotel, installed in a historic building. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond with help. We took advantage of the spa experience and with rainy days it was a treat to take a sauna or schedule a massage, in between walks through the historic center of Viseu. Breakfast was delicious, and tea is readily available. We grew to feel at home at the hotel and in Viseu.BrendaYoung couple
